What is beard oil?
We love people with beards. Let's be honest, though. Sometimes your beard can get a little out of hand. Beard oil could be the solution for unruly beard hairs and other beard life woes.
Beard oil can improve your facial hair's health and integrity. It conditions facial hair, reducing razor burn and ingrown hairs when growing out your beard. You can use a single carrier oil or a combination of essential oils diluted by carrier oils. We do not suggest using an undiluted essential oil because pure essential oils are potent. Many undiluted essential oils can irritate sensitive skin.
Sweet almond oil, argan oil, and jojoba are some of our favorite carriers. They can be used on their own as a beard oil or blended with your favorite essential oil to create something truly unique and one of a kind. Click here to learn more about diluting essential oils.
How do you use beard oil?
You can apply beard oil to the skin where facial hair typically grows or directly to facial hair. Reduce razor burn and ingrown hairs that can occur when growing out a beard by applying to a freshly shaved face. Apply daily after the stubble grows in.
If you already have facial hair, apply the oil to your beard by hand, and then use your favorite beard comb. The comb spreads it evenly through your beard. Beard oil can be applied at anytime, but we see the best results when applied right after a shower. Make sure you towel dry your beard first!
As always, listen to your body and spot test first before using a new product. Discontinue use and seek medical attention if an adverse reaction occurs.
